NATURE OF WORK
The main and usual role of the employee in this class of employment is to assist transport managers, by performing technical functions such as the development of circuits, the scheduling of schedules, the drawing up of contracts and regulations and control of their application.
SOME FEATURE CHARACTERISTICS
The employee in this class of employment determines the bus routes from student and course data and taking into account the school board's policy, student safety, municipal by-laws, costs and various constraints; she draws the circuits on topographic maps. It serves as an intermediary between the directorates and the carriers. It schedules transportation schedules and collects data on courses, student lists and places of residence; it compiles, analyzes and synthesizes these data; she writes reports, especially for school organization. She prepares or participates in the preparation of contracts, the launching of tenders and the drafting of transportation regulations concerning carriers, bus drivers and students; it controls how carriers meet their obligations and keeps records of each.

· Hold a college diploma in transport logistics techniques or hold a diploma or a certificate of studies the equivalence of which is recognized by the competent authority;
· Pass a French test according to the success threshold required by the school board.
· Possess a car and a valid driver's license.
Tests may be used so that the school board can verify the level of practical knowledge.
