Being part of the Product portfolio and marketing department , the product owner is at the heart of product design under his leadership and works closely with the product manager, internal and external stakeholders as well as the Scrum development teams. Under the supervision of the Director of Product and Marketing Portfolio, he analyzes the software needs of customers for the business areas for which he is responsible and represents the voice of the customer internally. He is responsible for the development of products according to user needs and the guidelines established jointly with the product manager. The product owner will therefore prioritize the production of new products in accordance with product strategies. Its primary objective is to ensure that the priorities it has established lead to deliveries that meet the expectations of internal and external stakeholders. He will carry out his work in an environment where Agile practices and values are put forward and where teamwork and continuous improvement are valued. He will carry out his work according to the Scrum guide in effect at GRICS.
• Collaborate in the development of strategies and vision of products as well as product positioning and analysis of opportunities; • Take a critical look at the products and collaborate in defining and prioritizing the implementation of new functionalities and improvements: o Translate the vision in specific objectives in order to achieve the functionalities offering the best return on investment; o Create and maintain the list of requirements and formalize as well as prioritize the product notebooks ("backlog"). • Collect, prioritize and communicate customer needs and product vision to internal stakeholders, for example by ensuring: o Participate in seminars or presentations; o Conduct surveys, organize and animate discussion groups; o Interact with users for all product-related activities under his / her responsibility; o Analyze business needs and define the scope of the solution; > o Detail business needs and acceptance criteria. • Manage the delivery plan, ensuring: o Plan and organize product increments and development iterations; o Manage the scope, endorse the recommended solution and collaborate on the effort and schedule estimates; o Accept the work • Collaborate with all sectors to ensure product success. • Hold a university degree in education or any other related discipline; • Any training combined with professional experience deemed relevant will be considered; • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a role related to pedagogy; • Excellent command of the French language, both spoken and written; • Functional English; • Be available to travel to meet clients in the context of employment; Hold a valid driver's license (class 5).
