NATURE OF WORK

The main and usual role of the employee in this class of job is to program or modify home applications, to assume the management of networks, to perform the most complex repairs to users of computer science , and assisting computer analysts in the design and development of systems.

SOME FEATURE CHARACTERISTICS

The employee in this job class programs or modifies applications, using the appropriate programming languages ​​to meet the specific needs of the users; it tests software and programs and, if necessary, adapts them to ensure that they are compatible with existing systems and to ensure, to the extent of their competence, that they meet the needs of users . It manages networks; it installs and configures them or controls the installation of components according to procedures it establishes; it tests, modifies and upgrades computer networks; it designs and controls the application of various procedures related to the use of networks and equipment, including those relating to backups, destruction of obsolete files and maintenance of devices. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Hold a college diploma in computer or information technology with a specialization appropriate to the job class or hold a diploma or a certificate of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

This post requires:

  • Possess relevant application development experience in C # and ASP.NET MVC;

  • Good knowledge of ASP.NET MVC development best practices;

  • Good knowledge of web application architecture concepts and principles;

  • Good knowledge of Agile methodology (principles and practices)

  • Have passed a French test according to the success threshold required by the School Board.

    Tests can be used so that the school board can verify the level of practical knowledge.
