NATURE OF WORK

The main and usual role of the employee in this class of employment is to perform various types of technical work related to the management of material resources, the development and implementation of standards and related work administrative operations. In her work, she can assist professional staff and management staff.

MANDATE ACCURACY

  • Issue purchase orders related to the equipment needs of the institutions.

  • Track orders from suppliers.

  • Collaborate in the analysis of material resource requirements, participate in the development of standards and monitor their application.

  • Apply or adapt management techniques to specific administrative activities and day-to-day operations.

  • Produce reports for the concerned organizations and ensure their transmission.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Hold a college diploma in general administration techniques or other techniques appropriate to the class of employment or other techniques with specialization appropriate to the class of employment, or hold a diploma or a certificate of studies the equivalence of which is recognized by the competent authority.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

This post requires:

  • Proficiency in word processing software and spreadsheet;

  • Mastery of Dofin software for financial monitoring and MS ACCESS, an asset;

  • Knowledge of Public Procurement Laws and Regulations an asset;

  • Have passed a French test according to the success threshold required by the School Board.

    Tests can be used so that the school board can verify the level of practical knowledge.

PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES WANTED

  • Ability to communicate with a great concern for customer service.

  • Ability to establish and manage priorities and several files simultaneously.

  • Be discreet.
