NATURE OF WORK

The employment of a pedagogical advisor more specifically includes consulting and support functions for school and educational service providers regarding the implementation, development and evaluation of educational programs. studies, classroom management and didactics.

SOME FEATURE CHARACTERISTICS

The pedagogical adviser collaborates in the realization of the educational project and the specific projects of the institutions; he or she participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of their success plan while respecting the educational and administrative frameworks, both at the level of the institutions and the school board. She or he collaborates in the implementation of study and training programs, advises teachers and management on the interpretation of these programs, and designs and facilitates workshops and training sessions on program elements; he or she contributes to the development of learning situations and supports classroom experimentation. MANDATE ACCURACY

  • Develop course content and support teachers for Employment Training Programs (ATP) and Transition Year Classes (ATRs);

  • Collaborate with the disciplinary CPs in the project file 15 years (Pre-DEP);

  • Support the implementation of transition plans (TEVA);

  • Organize meetings for exchanges and sharing of practices in inter-schools;

  • Establish links with subject matter advisers;

  • Work with guidance counselors;

  • Supervise the internship file;

  • Develop a digital portfolio;

  • Work with high school principals to better target priority needs.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Undergraduate university degree in a field of specialization suitable for employment, including education.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

This post requires:

  • Have passed a French test according to the success threshold required by the school board.

TREATMENT: Salary range from $ 46,114 to $ 82,585, depending on experience

According to the National Agreement Governing Non-Teaching Professionals.
