NATURE OF WORK

The employment of a pedagogical advisor more specifically includes consulting and support functions for school and educational service providers regarding the implementation, development and evaluation of educational programs. studies, classroom management and didactics.

ACCURACY OF MANDATE

Coordinate and participate in the development of the Middle Years Program (IEP); Develop educational tools to promote the program within the school; Coordinate the development of the IEP with the various partners (management, SÉBIQ, teachers, parents and students); Plans and organizes exam days for the selection of new students; Organizes the implementation of processes for IB program evaluations; Ensures student records are updated in accordance with the standards of the SÉBIQ and the IB; Ensures compliance with regulations, programs, procedures and deadlines set by the IB; Prepares the evaluation visits; Participate in the organization of open houses; Involved in the various IB and SÉBIQ committees; Find out about new pedagogical trends and disseminate them as needed; Accompany and support teachers and management to implement all aspects of the IEP.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Undergraduate university degree in a field of specialization suitable for employment, particularly in education.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

This post requires:

Relevant work-related experience, particularly in the field of education. Good knowledge of the Middle Years Program (IEP). Willingness to become actively involved in his / her school team. Excellent communication skills, dynamism and leadership. Functional English (spoken and written). Have passed a French test according to the success threshold required by the school board.

SALARY: Salary range from $ 42,391 to $ 80,368, depending on experience

According to the National Agreement Governing Non-Teaching Professionals.
